#GDP019 - LOVE is Blossoming

EEEEKKKK! My first proper card blog! You can imagine the nerves. I feel so out of my depth; i'm asking myself over and over if my card fits the theme (couldn't get much simpler then "Love") but there you have it and here it is! When I saw the Love Blossoms DSP it was literally "Love" at first sight. I love all things pretty and this was indeed pretty. I used all things pink and think it all came together quite well!

 Here is my card...

I used the rose red as my card base; whisper white as the backdrop. I just bought the circle thinlits as i LOVE circles! I was going for a kind of bubble look here with spots of Gorgeous Grunge in blushing bride on the background. I really like the sentiment "Happy Day" from Perfect Pairings. I think its such a versatile sentiment for any occasion. I wanted anyone to be able to buy and use this card.

The glimmer paper; love blossoms DSP; blushing bride card stock; wooden heart; gold thread and a honeycomb embellishment all scream out match made in heaven! Well, several matches! I hope you like my card. I would love to hear what you like and where you think it could be improved!

I'm still new to blogging so excuse the refinements that are still to be made (namely my uncooperative links).

Please if you would like to follow

So enjoy a happy LOVE week!

Hi! My name is Giselle and i'm a crazy mum to three crazy but incredibly cute kids and an awesome wife to an awesome husband (married nearly 13yrs now). Here's a pic of us all!
My daughter Emmy is 7yrs; Oliver (the moody looking one) is 4; Charlie (who can't see because the sun is in his eyes) is 19months; Michael is the crazy looking one and me, blissfully unaware of everything going on.
So i'm one of those people who loves a lot of things; i LOVE cooking/baking;

 i love crocheting (even though i don't really know anymore then how to make a granny square); i'm a tad obsessed in colouring in and i have a huge obsession with anything craft/inky/glittery/stationary etc. I love stuff, in particular tupperware containers and anything pretty. So all this lends very well to a love of stampin' up! I'm sad to say that i only really discovered this mid last year (and only now gotten onto a blog). What sold me was that from one company you can buy things that all completely match and coordinate! (I'm a tad obsessive about things like that). For instance, you can purchase a strawberry coloured ink; the exact same colour ribbon; the exact same coloured card and coordinating pretty patterned papers! Who wouldn't love all that. When you join up you also join a community who are also all craft obsessed and offer so much inspiration and support that makes you feel like you are friends with them all!  I'm not all that creative in the sense that i always need a recipe (or an idea) to start with to be able to come up with my own stuff. So pinterest is my best friend. I like to type in a stampin up colour or paper style and modify to make my own. Below is a card I CASEd (what does that mean? Copy And Steal (or Share) Everything) from pinterest but look how EVERYTHING MATCHES. Happy sigh.

So I have decided to blog to share my love; my ideas and because i also love talking and writing. I hope also to inspire others to create and also to help others to see what Stampin' Up! is all about! I hope you enjoy what i have to share and I love comments so please comment away!
If you like what you see and would like to try out the products, click on the links below or to the side or email me for help! That's what i'm here for!

So here goes, my first blog and I hope you like it, i'm totally open to criticism and definitely love compliments! Please stay tuned to see my first card that I have blogged...coming asap!
 Thank you for looking and reading!
